BROOKLYN PARK, MN — About 105 workers are expected to lose their jobs as an aerospace-linked manufacturer moves forward with the permanent closure of its Brooklyn Park facility, according to a revised notice filed with the state.

Nilfisk Inc. submitted a second revision to its Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice, updating the timeline for layoffs at its facility at 9435 Winnetka Ave. N.

Employee separations began Dec. 5, 2025, and are now expected to continue through July 3, 2026, the new final layoff date.

Some of the affected workers are represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local 77. Bumping rights are in place for employees who are not represented by the union.

Positions impacted span a wide range of roles, including engineers, project managers, production supervisors, logistics specialists and assemblers, as well as warehouse, maintenance and support staff.

The Minnesota State Rapid Response Team is overseeing the response to the layoffs. Senior Specialist Mee Yang is leading the effort.
