Indiana Jones and the Legend of the Inwood Caves premiered at Kew Gardens Cinema on Thursday March 19.

A full red carpet event and talk occurred before the premiere.

The film is described as, “In pursuit of a legendary artifact, Indiana Jones plunges into the depths of New York City’s Inwood Caves. Facing ruthless enemies, deadly traps, and snake-filled pits, Indy fights to reach the relic before it falls into the wrong hands.”

Essentially, the film is a fan homage to Indiana Jones, but it takes place mainly in Queens and NYC, adding a nostalgic New York feel to the franchise. The cinematography and editing are wonderful, and the film is incredibly fun.

The film is directed by John Galligan, written by the Galligan Brothers, and produced by Blast Beat Productions.

Indiana Jones and the Legend of the Inwood Caves stars John Galligan as Indiana Jones, Christopher Galligan as Forrestal, Gabriella Marden as Sophia Hapgood, Scott Myers as Alexander Chenoweth and the voice of John Rhys-Davies as Sallah.

Some of the New York filming locations included Inwood Hill Park, Forest Park, Forest Hills Inn, Flushing High School, Farmingdale Aviation, Law Offices of Ann Margaret Carrozza in Bayside, Jamaica Bay Riding Academy, Calvary Cemetery, Poppenhusen Institute, Jamaica High School, and Fort Totten.
