An NYC preschool director allegedly stole millions for luxury travel and WWE tickets.
Murielle Misczak, the director of Kinderhaus Brooklyn in Park Slope, was arrested on Wednesday, March 25. Law enforcement claims she embezzledw $2.75 million in tuition payments. A federal indictment stated that she spent $350,000 of the stolen money to buy tickets to WWE events, and even bragged about some of them on Instagram.
The indictment states that Misczak, 43, a Swiss citizen, is accused of misappropriating a total of $2.75 million in tuition. It is alleged that she used them “for her own personal use and benefit” between January 2022 and October 2025.
“[She] took frequent trips and vacations across the country – often every other weekend,” a lawsuit filed against her by the school in December states. “Enjoying plush resorts, VIP access to WWE events, and first class amenities, much of which she documented on her public Instagram and other social media accounts,”

A law enforcement source told The New York Post that the money she spent on WWE includes buying a VIP package for her three kids to attend RAW and meet the wrestlers backstage. Federal authorities noted that she allegedly spent $650,000 overall on travel and entertainment. Misczak spent another $150,000 on food delivery services and even more on high-end luxury goods.
According to the indictment, she covered up her activities by manipulating the school’s internal accounting system. Misczak made the accounts show that the funds had been deposited into the school’s bank account. She also made sure not to leave any traces by deleting emails that would’ve exposed her.
Misczak pleaded not guilty at her arraignment in Brooklyn federal court on Wednesday afternoon. She was released on a $200,000 bond, secured by a $50,000 wire transfer by her mother. Misczak won’t be attending any overseas WWE events anytime soon. She now has to surrender her passport, wear an ankle bracelet, and adhere to a home curfew.
