RIVERDALE, the Bronx (PIX11) — A Bronx man has been reunited with his beloved dogs after a frantic search.
PIX11 News spoke with 35-year-old dog owner Eusebio Baez on Thursday evening, and he confirmed over the phone that his dogs are safe and sound at his home. Baez’s four bulldogs went missing while a dog walker was caring for them during a weekend trip.

“I am just excited that I have my dogs back,” Baez said. “I am here making them dinner; we went for a walk earlier.”
Baez said he hired a trusted dog walker he had known for years to care for the pups—Churro, Mocha, Rosie, and Banksy—while he was away.
But on his way back from the trip, he received a call informing him that his dogs, along with their leashes and collars, were gone. Baez went to the police and has been working with investigators to find his pups. The dog dad also visited several veterinarians and pet stores and posted 400 flyers in the neighborhood.
Sadly, the search had come up empty. But Baez said he got a tip that someone had his dogs and followed the lead.
The dog dad was camped outside a building, waiting to see if he could spot his pups. Finally, an unknown person stepped out with them, and Baez said he confronted the person, who claimed he had found his dogs. The dog owner said he doesn’t buy that story but tells PIX11 his job isn’t to investigate.
At the end of the day, Baez says he’s happy to have his furbabies back.
