Over the past month, we’ve quite lost count of the occasions Harry Styles has been snapped on one of his signature strolls. He’s practically turned the streets of New York City into his personal catwalk (often with his girlfriend Zoë Kravitz), with whispers suggesting it all began as a way of seeking a bit of headspace before his SNL performance. But, frankly, it’s no hardship for us, as each photograph reveals a new bit of Styles-approved kit that, in our opinion, is waiting to be added to your wish list.
We’ve spied retro Adidas trainers, affordable Levi’s 501s, and even The New York Times. He’s made us hanker for a pair of wired earphones! Well, on his most recent jaunt across Manhattan, he sported a pair of sunglasses that we’re about to “add to basket.” And why, you ask? Because not only do they look damn good – all futuristic in shape and remarkably versatile – they’re also on sale.

The sunglasses in question hail from Thistles NYC, the if-you-know-you-know sunglasses brand founded in 2023 by the stylist and photographer Thistle Brown, known for his work with Loewe and The Wall Street Journal. The off-white “Atlas” sunglasses are a wraparound, bug-eyed style that shields late nights and (crucially, for our Haz) those paparazzi flashes. Hand-cut from acetate in Japan, they come in a neutral tone that sorta means you can wear them with anything.

Styles, a connoisseur of fine eyewear, usually wears Jacques Marie Mage, a celeb-favoured California-based brand that works with finest materials, so you can be assured these Thistles shades are also of the highest calibre. And, while the singer has no doubt possessed his pair for some time, if you’re keen to partake in the action, they’ve been knocked down in price and are now a mere £174 (kinda cheap in the world of designer sunglasses) at Ssense.
