Manhattan High girls’ basketball placed four players on the Centennial League’s all-league teams, announced on Friday. The honors follow a season that saw the Indians finish 19-6 and earn a share of the league title.

Senior guards Kat Ball and Delaney Larson each earned first-team all-league honors to lead the way for Manhattan. Ball averaged 10.7 points, 3.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game, while Larson added 9.5 points, 3.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 steals.

Sophomore Evie Banks and junior Jelena Depusior were both named to the second team. Banks led Manhattan in scoring at 12.2 points per game while also averaging 3.9 rebounds. Depusior posted 8.5 points and a team-high 8.5 rebounds per contest as the Indians’ top interior presence.

The quartet helped power Manhattan to its first share of a Centennial League title since the 2017-18 season and a return to the sub-state championship game.

Across the league, Ahsieyrhuajh Rayton of Topeka High was named Player of the Year, Brynn Anderson of Washburn Rural earned Newcomer of the Year, and Carvel Reynoldson of Hayden was selected as Coach of the Year.
