In any sport it’s always tough to beat a team three times in a season and that was the task at hand as Monsignor Farrell opposed Stepinac in the CHSAA AA quarterfinals Saturday on Randall’s Island.
After a scoreless opening half, the Crusaders notched the game’s first goal five minutes into the second and held a 1-0 lead, but the goal served as a wake-up call for the Oakwood school.
