NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — A plane crash, a government shutdown, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have created chaos at New York and New Jersey’s airports.
PIX11 News’ Angelo Bavaro asked travelers what they think of the long lines and federal immigration agents.
“Pay your TSA agents instead of sending ICE,” one traveler said. “They’re understaffed, they’re overoworked. They’re underpaid.”

Others had stronger words to share.
“Can they do the job? Can they do any job?” One traveler asked.
