Dozens of prospective tenants waited in a long line for the chance to view a rent-controlled studio apartment in Brooklyn on Saturday morning, March 28, footage shows.
The apartment, located on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights, would be rented at $1,675 per month to a tenant chosen through a lottery system.
According to Apartments.com, the average monthly rent for a studio apartment in New York City is more than $3,300.
