Lil Mama made a surprise appearance onstage with Bow Wow during his tour stop in Brooklyn, New York.
The unexpected moment came on Saturday (March 28) at the Barclays Center. Bow Wow, 39, was performing his 2002 hit “Take Ya Home,” when suddenly Lil Mama, 36, appeared on stage.
“Can we please put both of us in the same frame so they know this is not AI?” he told the Brooklyn crowd before addressing Lil Mama directly. “Twin, you know I stay ready, right? … We all millennials but this is the Millennium Tour, meaning that 2000s shit. Can you do me a favor? Take this shit over with this one.”
From there, Lil Mama performed her 2007 hit “Lip Gloss” before taking fans through a brief a cappella version of her 2015 single, “Sausage.”
“Brooklyn was crazy tonight! I cant believe @lilmama crashed my Set tonight!” Bow Wow wrote on Instagram. “Now y’all can’t say this was AI! We Finally In The Same Place At The Same Time! [laugh crying emoji]”
“This was so [fire emojis],” Lil Mama wrote in the comments.
The Boys 4 Life Tour, co-headlined by Bow Wow and B2K, also features Crime Mob, Pretty Ricky, Waka Flocka, Amerie, Franchize Boys, and Yung Joc on the bill.
Jeremih was originally attached to the tour but dropped out due to a “serious medical condition.”
The tour kicked off earlier this month and will continue through major cities including Baltimore, Detroit, Atlanta, and Chicago before wrapping up in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 26.
