ONEIDA, N.Y. — Drivers will face a closure on the Rt. 46 bridge over the New York State Thruway for upcoming bridge work.
According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the closure will begin March 30, and is expected to last until fall 2026.
Tractor trailers will be rerouted to Rts. 365 and 13.
Other vehicles should use Madison to Lake Street to Rt. 46 or Cobb Street to Canal Road to Lake Street to Rt. 46.
Detour routes will have clear signage, and drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and expect changes to normal routes.
