Suspect takes out multiple loans in woman’s name in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman lost over $13,000 after a suspect took out loans in her name, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Officials say that officers filed a fraud report on Monday, March 30, at around 7:07 p.m. in Manhattan.

A 34-year-old woman was listed as the victim. It was reported that an unknown suspect took out multiple loans in her name.

RCPD says the total estimated loss associated with the case is $13,900.
