MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A 22-year-old woman was listed as the victim of an identity theft in Manhattan that resulted in thousands of dollars in loss, officials said.
The incident was reported around 2:26 p.m. Monday in Manhattan, where Riley County police officers filed a report of fraud.
A 22-year-old woman was listed as the victim of an identity theft in Manhattan that resulted in around $20,000 in loss, officials said.
According to Riley County Police officials, an unknown person stole the woman’s identity and accumulated debt in her name.
The total estimated loss associated with this case is $20,000.
