Cheder Yaldei Menachem first grade students were treated to a memorable and meaningful trip in honor of Yud Alef Nissan, the Rebbe’s Birthday. They got an early start and headed straight to the Rebbes Shul, 770 where they davened together looking in their siddur. What a special sight to behold! Then came a quick stop at the Matzah Bakery to observe the process of making matzah. From there they continued their trip to the Ohel of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Each child penned their own “Pan” letter, detailing their growth, the mitzvos they’re doing and a request for brachos. They gave tzedakah and headed to the Ohel where they read their Pan, and as customary, tore it up along with the mitzvah notes that they brought along with them. They watched a video of the Rebbe and enjoyed their lunch with a special dessert cookie from the Ohel! What a significant and memorable experience.
