No one was injured after a fire broke out Wednesday evening in a garage at a Manhattan home in the Northview neighborhood.

At 7:47 p.m., the Manhattan Fire Department was dispatched to 1949 Judson St. for a report of a garage on fire. Upon arrival, crews found a detached garage heavily involved in fire.

The fire was contained within 15 minutes.

A total of 16 firefighters responded on six fire apparatus, with the last units clearing after 9:30 p.m.

The structure is a 24-by-24 two-car garage. Loss is estimated at $10,000 to contents and $10,000 to the structure. The owners are listed as Brett and Katrin Starnes of the same address.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
