An NYPD officer shot a man in the Bronx Thursday morning, police said.
It happened at around 7:15 a.m. at Willis Avenue between Bruckner Boulevard and East 132nd Street.
Police opened fire after the man pointed what appeared to be a gun at them, according to the NYPD.
The man was rushed to Lincoln Hospital. There was no immediate word on his condition.
