The World Cup kicks off in just a couple of months, but some hotel owners worry that rising costs, a potential union strike and the threat of heightened federal immigration enforcement will stifle tourism in the city.

The Hotel Association of New York City is launching a new $500,000 ad campaign and website called “Save NYC Hotels” to get the word out.

Vijay Dandapani, the president and CEO of the organization, which represents nearly 300 hotels in the five boroughs, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss the concerns.
