RENSSELAER, N.Y. (WNYT) – Baseball season is officially underway, and local Yankee fans are marking Opening Day with a trip to the Bronx.

Yankee Trails sent a bus full of fans to Yankee Stadium on Friday morning, giving passengers a chance to experience the first game of the season without the hassle of driving.

The bus departed from the company’s headquarters in Rensselaer, with an additional pickup stop in Albany, before heading down the Thruway to the Bronx.

Organizers say the trip offers a convenient and stress-free way for fans to be part of one of baseball’s most iconic traditions. From longtime Yankees supporters to first-time visitors, the experience brings together fans eager to celebrate the start of a new season.

Opening Day is often seen as a fresh start, with every team beginning the season with renewed hope – something fans on board were ready to embrace.

For many making the trip, it’s about more than just the game – it’s about the atmosphere, the tradition, and the excitement of baseball returning.

Yankee Trails will be making trips all season long- and each bus ticket to the stadium includes a ticket to the game.
