NEW YORK (WABC) — When it comes to capturing the magic of New York and New Yorkers, nobody does it as authentically as Nicolas Heller, known to his millions of followers as New York Nico.
Some call him the city’s unofficial talent scout, others a staunch supporter of small businesses. While he’s both, he’s really the ultimate New Yorker with a camera and a keen eye for the stories that make this city tick.
Last year on Mornings at 10, we told you all about his story.
Now he has a new documentary called “26.2” which follows four everyday New Yorkers training for the 2024 New York City Marathon: a retired math teacher, an NYPD administrative aide, a public defender, and an elevator mechanic.
Entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo and the Eyewitness News Mornings @ 10 team spoke with Heller about his new documentary in the media player above.
