MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday in connection with identity theft counts.
The Riley County Police Department reports Jacob Theodore Disberger, 27, was arrested around 10:41 a.m. on April 2.
Disberger was arrested in the 2700 block of Buttonwood Drive for nine counts of identity theft, six counts of criminal use of a financial card; without consent of owner ($1000-$25,000), four counts of criminal use of a financial card; without consent of owner (less than $1000), and mistreat a dependent adult.
The arrest stems from a report filed in January 2026.
Disberger was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remained in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
