MOTT HAVEN, The Bronx (PX11) — A person was rescued after getting stuck in a trash compactor chute in the Bronx on Friday, according to the FDNY.

Firefighters extricated the person from the compactor chute at 40 Bruckner Blvd. in Mott Haven just before 12 p.m., fire officials said.

The person was taken to the hospital however, their condition, age and gender were not immediately made known.
