Smith agreed to a two-year contract with the Nets on Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Smith had previously put pen to paper on a pair of 10-day deals with Brooklyn earlier in March and into April, and this multi-year contract will keep him with the team at least for the next few seasons. The 26-year-old is averaging 7.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 10 appearances this season for the Nets, versus 14.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.4 steals through 39 showings with the G League’s Long Island Nets.
