The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange, 137 Montague Street (between Clinton and Henry), celebrating 170 years in Brooklyn Heights, will host a Holiday Open House on Thursday, November 6 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. You may enjoy tasty treats, sparkling wine, and soft drinks while you browse their “unique selection of handcrafted gifts” approriate for either Christmas or Hanukkah (or Festivus, for that matter) or for your own year round enjoyment. All are invited, and admission is free.

Silhouette artist Deborah O’Connor will be at the Exchange Friday to Sunday, November 14 through 16, to work her scissors magic and create silhouette portraits.

Reserve your appointment to have a one-of-a-kind silhouette made of your children, family members, or even pets. Silhouettes are a timeless keepsake and make the perfect holiday gift.

For an instant gift, we can frame your portrait on-site in our signature black oval frame. Prices start at $40 for a single subject and require approximately 10 minutes of sitting.

Reservations are necessary; you can sign up here.
