LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa.- A bus company that provides service from the Lehigh Valley and Berks County to major cities like Philadelphia and New York is expanding its offerings.
OurBus is growing its Lehigh Valley network with the addition of new stops in Bethlehem and Easton. The new route connects Allentown, Bethlehem, Hellertown, and Easton to New York City.
The expansion brings OurBus service to Bethlehem and Easton for the first time. The route operates on Fridays, weekends, and holidays, and is designed to offer a lower-cost option while maintaining flexibility and convenience, the company said.
The Easton stop is located at the Easton Intermodal Transportation Center on S. Third Street. In Bethlehem, passengers will board on Packer Avenue, between Webster and Vine streets, near Lehigh University.
Passengers will get off at New York City’s Hudson Yards across from the Javits Convention Center on 11th Avenue.
One-way fares from the Lehigh Valley average around $25, OurBus said. A quick check of tickets available for the coming weekend showed fares as low as $20 and as high as $27.50.
Launched in 2016 and headquartered in New York City, OurBus also offers service from Reading to Philadelphia and New York City; and between East Stroudsburg and New York City.
The company said it connects more than 300 destinations nationwide.
