TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Saint Francis claimed a couple of kills during the fourth from Gall, Zini, Stump, Dorn, and Nicholas Lynch. However, it was not enough to overtake and win the set. FLASH MOMENTS
The Red Flash went on a 5-1 run to set the tone in the first set. Zini got Saint Francis started with a kill set up by Charles. After an attacking error from Manhattan, Stump grabbed his own kill down the left side. He was not done yet, collecting an ace from the line. Middle blocker Lane and setter Charles recorded a duo block to give Saint Francis its fifth point. Lane grabbed the final point in the set, giving the Red Flash the first.
In the second set, Saint Francis had a small run to bring them within one point of Manhattan. Lane and Dorn both had kills down the right side, one set up by Charles and the other by Zini. Dorn then recorded a lone block.
The Red Flash once again started the third how they did the first, with a power-hungry run. Dorn had a kill right before Gall added two more kills to his stat line. At the line, Gall and Stump had a duo block to extend the lead they needed to grab the third set.
