NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — City drivers won’t have to worry about moving their cars over to the other side of the street for multiple days this week.

Alternate side parking will be suspended for the second half of the week in observance of several holy holidays.

Alternate side parking suspended on these days

Alternate side parking will be suspended on Wednesday for Passover, on Thursday for Orthodox Holy Thursday and Passover and finally on Friday for Good Friday.

Meters will still be in effect for all three days. Drivers are reminded that parking within 15 feet of either side of a fire hydrant is illegal and that painted curbs at hydrant locations do not indicate where they can park.
