Numerous families gathered to celebrate Easter and participate in the Barnyard Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 5, at the orchard of the Queens County Farm, located at 73-50 Little Neck Pkwy.

The Barnyard Egg Hunt, which took place every 30 minutes from 10:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., gave participants the opportunity to explore the expansive farm as they searched for the colorful prize-filled eggs.

In addition to the Easter egg hunt, the event also featured a self-guided scavenger hunt, games for kids and the opportunity for children to meet and get their pictures taken with Whiskers the Bunny.

Parents had the opportunity to buy bunny ears and baskets for their kids at the event, keeping in theme with Easter.

Spanning 47 acres, the Queens County Farm Museum features an array of farm animals and historic buildings, including the Adriance Farmhouse, which was constructed in 1772. Visitors of the Queens County Farm have the opportunity to explore the idyllic peaceful grounds and take part in celebrations like the Barnyard Egg Hunt.
