Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted for assaulting a senior citizen inside a housing complex nearly a month ago. 

The senior, a 65-year-old woman, was inside The Crossing at Jamaica Station, located at 147-40 Archer Ave., on Wednesday, March 4, when the assailant approached her, said the NYPD. The two women got into a verbal altercation, which escalated when the assailant slapped the victim in the face. 

The attacker then fled on foot going east on Archer Avenue to parts unknown, said police. The NYPD received a report about the incident at 5:10 p.m. The victim was not hospitalized, but sustained minor injuries. 

The assailant is described as having a dark complexion, said the NYPD. 

She was last seen wearing a black sweater and blue pants, said the police.
