QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 15-year-old boy was slashed in the face multiple times on a Queens subway train last week, police said Monday.

The teen was attacked on a northbound A train at around 7:15 a.m. on March 30, according to the NYPD.

The suspect allegedly slashed the boy in the face multiple times before getting off the train at the Broad Channel subway station, police said.

The victim was treated at a local hospital.

The suspect is about 15 to 18 years old and was last seen wearing black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes, police said.

There have been no arrests.

There have been more than 500 crimes committed in transit this year, which is down nearly 4% from last year at the same time, according to NYPD data.
