Skeletal remains of a badly decomposed body were found near an off-ramp of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in Queens Tuesday morning, police said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the remains were those of a woman or a man — or how old the person was.

Police found the grisly body parts after they responded to an 11:09 a.m. 911 call and arrived at the scene — a vacant storage area under the Exit 41 ramp of the BQE that feeds onto Northern Blvd. in East Elmhurst.

An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
