SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn (WABC) — A 3-year-old girl was critically injured after running out of her Brooklyn home and into oncoming traffic.
The little girl ran into 50th Street in Sunset Park just before 12:15 a.m. Thursday, where she was struck by an eastbound 2018 Nissan Sentra.
She was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in critical condition.
The vehicle, operated by a 43-year-old man and occupied by a 28-year-old woman and two girls, ages nine and 11, stopped at the scene.
No charges were immediately filed.
