Man, 49, fatally shot in chest outside Queens park

A 49-year-old man was gunned down outside a Queens park on Friday, cops said.

The victim was struck multiple times in the chest at Merrick Blvd. and Sayres Ave. near Archie Spigner Park in South Jamaica around 2:21 p.m., according to law enforcement.

Medics rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he died.

There were no arrests.
