About Viv + Jules
Viv + Jules opened this winter in the former Stewed Cow space, bringing a totally different vibe to 400 Adams Street. From longtime Hoboken restaurateur John Avoletta and celebrity chef Cliff Crooks, the new(ish) restaurant serves elevated comfort food in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
The space features a balance between lively and laid-back, with outdoor seating for warmer days. We sat in the back room on our recent visit, which felt especially cozy. It’s also not overly loud, a win for catching up with friends. Between the super-friendly staff and fellow diners who were equally as warm, it had that neighborhood spot energy that Hoboken does best.
A New Brunch Spot
After a few months on the Hoboken food scene, Viv + Jules has launched a new weekend brunch menu. Brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM to 3PM, featuring a mix of sweet and savory dishes. The menu includes items like rotisserie chicken salad, an avocado croissant, ricotta pancakes, and more. Read: something for every kind of brunch goer.
We went all in on a mix of shareables and entrees and highly recommend doing the same.
