The Queens County Farm Museum launched its 29th annual Apple Blossom Carnival, which features plenty of family-friendly fun, on Saturday, April 11, at the apple orchard of the grounds, located at 73-50 Little Neck Pkwy.

The Apple Blossom Carnival, which will run Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April 26, has a variety of rides, games, carnival food and more.

Among the rides on hand are the Speedway, the Circus Train, the Traffic Jam, the Rockin Tug, the Happy Swing, the Sizzler, the Tornado, the Cliffhanger, the Round Up, a Merry Go Round, a Ferris Wheel and a Super Slide.

Playable games at the Apple Carnival Festival include water gun fun, roll-a-ball derbies, the bottle mash, long-range basketball, ring the bottle, the duck pond and wac-a-mole. Participants can win a variety of prizes.

Pre-sale tickets, which cost less than general admission at the event, start at $18.95. Access to all rides is included in general admission. There are higher-priced tickets available for $24.95 and $38.95 that offer special perks, including fast passes for rides and credits for the games. Parking is free and children under 30 inches tall get in for free.
