Police from the 107th Precinct are looking for a burglar who broke into an unoccupied commercial truck in front of the Key Food Supermarket at 138-37 Queens Blvd. in Briarwood, just before 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, while the 23-year-old male driver was making a food delivery inside.

Police say the perpetrator took the victim’s wallet from the cab and made unauthorized transactions on the victim’s bank cards. The amount of cash in the stolen wallet and the amount of money withdrawn from the victim’s bank cards have not yet been determined, an NYPD spokesman said Monday. There were no injuries reported during the burglary.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Sunday and described him as having a light complexion. He was wearing a distinctive looking tan hooded jacket with black-colored forearms on the sleeves, over a black sweatshirt with black pants, black sneakers and a black backpack.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and indictment.
