SOUNDVIEW, Bronx (PIX11) — Four people are recovering after authorities say they were injured after being struck by a vehicle near a busy South Bronx corridor on Monday night.
The incident happened on Westchester Avenue and White Plains Road at around 9:30 p.m.

Two victims suffered moderate injuries, and the other two suffered minor injuries, police say. They were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
A man was taken into custody at the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
