Chili’s in NYC
Currently, locations are only outside of the borough, much to the dismay of New Yorkers.
But Chili’s is finally opening up in Manhattan — although not in the traditional sense.
The chain restaurant told USA TODAY it is merely a pop-up, expected to be open only this Thursday, April 16.
The rollout is for a new “Big Crispy” chicken sandwich lineup, which will be offered nationwide. The pop-up, named the “Chili’s Big Crispy Food Court,” will last one day at the New York City location in Union Square.
On Thursday, guests are invited to serve as a “jury” in the case “Chili’s vs. Fast Food.”
And yes, attendees will hear and get to eat the evidence.
The address is 37 Union Square West, and will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
