UK indie Woodcut Media’s Queens That Changed The World
NEWS BRIEF: BBC Select has ordered a second season of factual series Queens That Changed The World, produced by UK indie Woodcut Media and distributed globally by Sphere Abacus.
The 6×60’ second run spotlights six historical female rulers, delving into the lives of Maria Theresa, Mary Queen of Scots, Marie Antoinette, Rani of Jhansi, Agrippina the Younger, and Queen Charlotte. Sphere Abacus has also concluded sales for the second season with BBC Studios America, SBS Australia, Sky Germany and Czech Television.
