NEW BALTIMORE, N.Y. (WCAX) – A driver faces charges after nearly hitting a child getting off a school bus in New York.
Video shows a sixth grader exiting the bus as a driver blows through a stop sign and careens around the bus, nearly hitting the child.
The incident happened last month in New Baltimore in rural Albany County.
Officials say the 12-year-old was not injured.
The driver, Neal Daley, 51, of Poughkeepsie, faces several charges, including reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
