ALBANY, N.Y. — The state budget is now nearly two weeks late, with no agreement in sight.
Lawmakers passed a budget extender for the third time Monday, allowing state workers to continue getting paid, according to the Assembly Minority Leader. The budget process has been slowed by disagreements over a climate bill, car insurance reform and other agenda items.
Gov. Hochul’s proposed budget totals more than $260 billion.
