MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Police have arrested two Topeka men after they allegedly broke into a Manhattan man’s home multiple times and stole multiple items, including a safe.

The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) reports that a 67-year-old Manhattan man contacted law enforcement to report repeated break-ins at his home in the 1200 block of Tabor Valley Road. The break-ins reportedly occurred on April 12, 14 and 16.

The Manhattan homeowner told police that unknown individuals broke into his home on three occasions, stealing various items. The suspects also allegedly stole a safe and its contents, with the total estimated losses unknown.

The RCPD arrested a 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both from Topeka on charges of burglary. Both men were being held at the Riley County Jail as of April 17.
