Brooklyn Beckham stays silent on mom Victoria’s birthday amid family feud
Brooklyn Beckham appeared to ignore his mother Victoria Beckham’s 52nd birthday as ongoing tensions within the family continue to draw attention.
The 27-year-old did not share a public tribute on Instagram for the fashion designer, despite other members of the Beckham family posting messages and photos in celebration of her special day on Friday, April 17.
Instead, Brooklyn’s most recent Instagram activity was a post from Thursday, where he shared a video featuring a homemade meal, including a sweet jalapeño salmon recipe and an arugula walnut salad. Meanwhile, his siblings shared their love for their mother on the day. Cruz Beckham, 21, posted a series of throwback photos to his Instagram Story, writing, “Happy birthday @victoriabeckham I love you xx you inspire me every day.” His absence stood out, particularly as it came just one day after Victoria addressed the reported rift in a new interview.

Romeo Beckham, 23, also marked the occasion with a message of his own, sharing, “Happy birthday mum love you so so much have the best day @victoriabeckham.”
Harper Beckham, 14, the youngest of the family, posted a heartfelt tribute as well. In her message, she described her mother as “the best mum ever.”
Brooklyn Beckham dissed his mother’s birthday
“I couldn’t ask for a better role model, best friend or mum,” she wrote. “I hope you have the best day ever because you deserve it.”
Victoria’s husband, David Beckham, also shared a celebratory message on Friday, posting a carousel of photos alongside a caption praising his wife.
“Happy Birthday to the one & only Posh Spice,” the 50-year-old former footballer wrote. “We love you so much and we will make sure you have the most special day because as the best Wife , Mum, friend & of course gym partner you deserve too. Happy Birthday We Love You.”
The public displays of affection from the rest of the family came shortly after Victoria spoke about her children. While she did not mention Brooklyn, 27, by name, she addressed her role as a parent amid the ongoing speculation.

“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she told the Wall Street Journal. “We’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
Rumors of tension between Brooklyn, his parents, and his wife Nicola Peltz have circulated for years.
The situation escalated earlier this year when Brooklyn posted a strongly worded message on Instagram in January.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote, alleging that his mother had “humiliat[ed]” him with an “inappropriate” dance at his 2022 wedding and had “cancelled making Nicola’s [wedding] dress in the eleventh hour,” among other claims.
