The NYPD is asking for help identifying three men it says broke into a Queens home earlier this month and stole a safe containing about $3.2 million in cash and jewelry.

The incident happened around 2:20 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, near 160th Street and 84th Drive in Jamaica Hills, police said. The men forcibly opened a rear door to enter the home and fled in a blue Hyundai Elantra, authorities said. No injuries were reported.

According to investigators, the men were dressed to look like construction workers. Two of them wore black clothing, neon construction vests, white hard hats and carried black backpacks. Police said one had a face covering and eye protection.

The third man was last seen wearing a white hoodie, black pants, black gloves and gray sneakers, officials said. He was also seen operating the getaway car, according to police.

Police released images of the suspects wearing black clothing and yellow construction vests. Officials said that anyone with information should contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS or visit crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.
