NEW YORK (PIX11) — A “security issue” onboard a United Airlines flight bound for LaGuardia Airport forced an emergency landing in Pittsburgh on Saturday, according to the FAA.
United Airlines Flight 2092 landed at Pittsburgh International Airport around 11:45 a.m. after the crew reported the issue, a spokesperson for the FAA and United said. More than 150 passengers and 6 crew members were forced to evacuate the flight, United reported.

The nature of the security concern was not immediately made known and a spokesperson for the Transportation Security Administration directed PIX11 to the FAA when asked for a statement.
No injuries were reported though it was not made known when passengers might be able to continue to trip to New York.
