NEW YORK CITY — One lucky New Yorker is $1 million dollars richer after the latest New York Lottery over the weekend.

A second-prize-winning ticket was sold in Unique News and Smoke located at 2218 Broadway for the March 18 drawing.

The player had matching numbers of 24, 25, 39, 46 and 61 but did not have the Powerball number of 1.

To win the big prize, all five numbers — and the Powerball — need to match with the randomly selected numbers.

According to the lottery, winners can claim their prizes up to one year from the date of the drawing.

Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
