NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released images of eight suspects and vehicles they’re searching for after a street takeover in Queens over the weekend ended with multiple people jumping on a police car and a “ring of fire” burning in the street.

Wild video posted by Council Member Phil Wong shows dozens of vehicles taking part in the street takeover at 69th Street and Elliott Avenue in Maspeth around 2 a.m. Saturday.

In the video, drivers can be seen doing donuts around a ring of fire in the middle of the intersection between two gas stations.

Police said responding officers saw a blue car driving recklessly in a circular motion, along with a silver BMW X3 occupied by three males and a white BMW occupied by two males and one female.

When the NYPD tried to disperse the crowd, two males started jumping on the hood of a marked police vehicle, causing damaged and cracking the windshield, police said.

The suspects fled in a black Nissan, according to cops. No injuries were reported.

Some residents said Monday that they’re considering moving out of the area, even to Florida.

“I am against what’s happening here,” said one resident, Ronnie. “The cops should be respected. Nobody has any regard for law and order.”

Another resident, Joe, said he’s looking at buying a house west of Tampa this week.

“And I’m out of here, so let it burn,” he said. “It’s not going to get any better… I’m out of here. I retire in six months.”
