CONCOURSE, The Bronx (PIX11) — A security guard was stabbed and pepper-sprayed during an assault at an urgent care in the Bronx, according to authorities.
A man and a woman began arguing with the 21-year-old security guard inside a City MD Urgent Care at 48 East 170 St. around 2:30 p.m. last Tuesday, police said. The nature of the argument and whether the two were patients was not immediately made clear.
That’s when the pair allegedly stabbed the guard in the back with a metal object, pepper-sprayed him, then punched and kicked him in the face, law enforcement officials reported.
The pair drove away in a white KIA SUV in an unknown direction while EMS transported the security guard to a local hospital, according to the NYPD. The 21-year-old was expected to survive.
