NEW YORK (PIX11) — Even though the last day of the current school year is still over a month away, New York City Public Schools has published the calendar for the next school year.
According to New York City’s Department of Education, the first day of the 2025-2026 school year will be Sept. 10. Parent-teacher conferences will kick off in late September.

The first break for students will be Sept. 21 for Yom Kippur.

The last day of school is June 26, according to the calendar.
