NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — One person was killed and multiple people were injured in a four-alarm apartment fire in the Bronx on Tuesday.

The FDNY said one person was pronounced dead at the scene at 660 East 187th St. in Belmont as around 200 firefighters and EMS members responded.

The inferno broke out around 1:30 p.m. at a five-story dwelling, sending smoke all over the area, Citizen App video shows.

The number of injured wasn’t immediately known.

The FDNY was still operating at the scene as of 3:30 p.m.
