Halloween is the night that they say the veil is thinner and we can speak to the dead. I am not sure about all of that, but I will say that you can get a look at some really cool zombies doing the ‘Thriller” dance this Halloween down in NYC.

Since 2004, we have celebrated our combined love of gore and Michael Jackson by performing the infamous Thriller dance in the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade.

There really is no song other than ‘The Monster Mash’ that is more synonymous with Halloween than Michael Jackson’s iconic ‘Thriller.’ I make a point to watch the full 14 minute ling music video each Halloween. I have to imagine seeing hundreds of people doing it in the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade would be even cooler.

This thing is the real deal, too. I think one of the best parts of this big Thriller parade is that you do not need to be a seasoned dancer to participate. They will allow anyone willing to come to rehearsal take part in this giant Michael Jackson tribute in New York City.

Watch them rehearse this incredible number

This is one parade that I need to make a point to get to at some point. New York City really isn’t that far from the Capital Region, and maybe now that they are going to have trains running all the way to Albany this could be more doable.

If you want to go to the parade on Friday night, just hit this link here for all of the info on Thriller NYC.
